Headlight Protectant

This is a protectant, not a cleaner/restorer. This product is to be used "after" you have restored the headlights. You will have to re-apply to maintain the clarity of your headlights as this product will eventually wear off.

Does not work as a protectant

This product is not a cleaner. It does not work well as a protectant to slow re-oxidization of headlights. After buffing my headlights last summer and liberally applying Meguiar's Headlight Protectant, the headlights began to haze again throughout the winter.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Meguiar's Headlight Protectant

I used Meguiar's Headlight Protectant after the PlastX product for a two stage headlight restoration on my 7 year old Mazda. The combination of these two products made a noticeable difference. If you are expecting a miracle, you will be disappointed, however it does work well and I do recommend it for moderately fogged headlights. I preferred this to the BlueMagic product.
