bought this today. can't install. the shifter just pulls right out. It doesn't have threads but universal inserts. The problem is that it's suppose to have grub screws but doesn't. the installation instructions on the packaging doesn't match the hardware in the packaging.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Replacement parts for shift knob? I already own this shift knob, but one of the numbered inserts to mount it has broken, #10. Is there a way to get new inserts? even from the manufacturer?
