Q: This isn’t a question but I was looking for something that would help sift out the rocks and debris from the leaves when I’m sweeping the driveway. I like to keep the rocks out of the garden-waste bins. Hopefully this does the trick.
2 years agoA: this is great for keeping in the bottom of your bucket so that when you put wet tools or things in it, so your tools aren't sitting in the water, so they can dry properly and other things like that. But if you wanted to use it as a sifter it is plastic so the chance of it breaking because of the rocks is high. but if you cut the bottom of a bucket and screw the insert into the bottom of the bucket then you can fill the bucket with dirt and it should take out a decent amount of rubble. Just don't let the weight buildup because it will break.

Q: would this grit guard work on a wash mitt for washing a car? I'm looking for a grit guard that I can use with my car washing mitt. Would this work?
8 years agoA: Yes. It works good in protecting your paint from scratches by allowing the dirt and grit in your wash mitt to settle to the bottom of the bucket and stay there.
