The MAXIMUM ⅜” Rotary Thread File with Collet utilizes an innovative, patented rotary file to repair the likes of stripped or damaged threads with ease. This thread repair kit makes a useful choice for fixing threads while working, and boasts the dual functionality to fix internal and external threads. The durable thread repair tool is made from chrome-plated, hardened steel, and uses a proprietary diamond-coated rotary head for tough repairs. This MAXIMUM thread file can be used to repair UNC, UNF, metric, and pipe threads with an inside diameter of ½” (12.7 mm) or less, and can be used in combination with any rotary tool, die grinder, or drill with a ⅛” (3 mm) or ¼” (6 mm) shank thanks to an included adaptor. The thread file features a chrome-plated, hardened steel design with a proprietary diamond-coated rotary head for optimal durability. With a maximum rotational speed of 35000 RPM, it makes an ideal choice for thread repairs in residential, industrial, electrical, or automotive work.
