Q: How long is the full useful length of the arbor shaft if metal casings are removed? But still leave room for the nut?

A: Please clarify the reason why you would like to remove the metal casing, this grinder cannot remove the metal casting , it may result in serious personal injury. The length of arbor shaft is 20mm, and the thickest wheel can be used is 20mm.

A: Yes. It does come with one thick spacer about 5-6mm thick. It's packed with the coolant tray. It took me a while to figure it out.
