Doesn't make the grade

Broke within first week of use. Sure, it's obvious 1/2" drive is intended for higher forces, and 3/8" less so, so clearly you can't put a breaker bar on it and crank your 3/8" sockets to the "max", but this product is worse than that. It should be as strong as a 3/8" ratchet, and it's nowhere near that. Probably both the design and the grade of metal need improvement for it to be worthy of the "Maximum" name. Right away you can feel flex-- a bit makes sense since it's for "impact" use and you wouldn't want the metal too hard, but it needs to be tougher, and the transition from wide to narrow smoother so the stress doesn't all happen in one place. I'll get another one, but just for 4-8mm hex use; no "real" sockets.
