Q: Purchased this mortar bag and noticed tip is not attached. Does the tip go inside the bag before filling with mortar or does it attach to the end of the bag somehow?

A: Yes it goes inside the bag. Pretty sure I had to cut a hole for it… that was last summer though. So not sure. If you do need to cut a hole… er on the smaller side. Youd want the metal piece sticking a little over half way out. If the hole was too big the tip might not stay in place when you squeeze the grout out. Also recommend buying multiple bags for a big project
