Didn't work for my specific application to retrieve, hold and fasten a fallen bolt working on 6.7L Cummins diesel engine. Was too bulky to fit through the numerous diesel engine components openings. Returned for a long flexible lighted/magnetic/mech-claw. However, these locking pliers would be fine for many other applications.
