Q: How long is that Hex bit (with & without the socket)? What kind of material for the hex bits? (S2 steel or...)

A: The overall length of the Long Arm Ball End Hex Bit Sockets is 6". The socket portion is 1" and the hex is 5". The socket is made of Chrome Vanadium steel and the hex is made if S2 steel.
