Poor quality; did more harm than good

I bought this, but the metal was poor quality and it damaged the cartridge it was trying to remove, removing only half of it and rendering the other half of it unusable and unremovable inside the faucet. Faucet now needs full replacement by a plumber. Would not recommend this part if your cartridge is actually stuck. The brand name product seems to be higher quality. I would never buy this again. Would give less than 1 star if I could.

Works well but probably not needed

Due to corrosion in the pipes, my old cartridge wouldn't come out until I bought this puller. With this tool, it came out easily.
However, I wished I had done some more online research before I bought it.. I see that many people were able to free the old cartridge by putting the plastic tool that comes with the new cartridge on the end of the old one and moving it back and forth with a pair of pliers.

Tool extracted the cartridge in short order.

Tried to extract my MOEN 1225 cartridge. It would not budge. I picked up this tool and in mere seconds, I had the cartridge out. It did the job exactly as you would expect. Now I have yet one more tool I have to keep track of. :-)

A: It should. Single handle faucet cartridges. Didn't need it after all. The old cartridge was easy enough to remove but wanted to have it on hand in case it was overly sticky.
