We purchased this heater to help my wife heat her yoga class in a church basement. Classes have been warmer for her patrons and new members have joined. Lighrweight. Instant heat.

It is a milk house heater

I know there are complaints about low heat from this unit. We like this heater because it’s a true milk house heater, and by design it doesn’t get dangerously hot to the touch, which makes it feel much safer to use around kids. It gives off steady, even heat without exposed or glowing elements, so there’s none of that burning-hot surface you get with many small space heaters, and it feels solid and well built for everyday use rather than flimsy or risky.

Not impressed. You can barely tell this is running when on highest setting. good for noise, but not for actual power. Fan barely blows and because of that unless you are directly in front of the unit you don't feel any heat. Acts more like an infrared, except less power. Bought on sale otherwise I would return. I do like the mostly all metal construction. DIdn't have a terrible plastic smell like many others do initially.

Q: I have just purchased the Mastercraft Deluxe Milkhouse Utility Space Heater. The fan seems to be running slowly compared to what I had expected. Is this what others have found with their heaters? Thx.

A: On the one I purchased the fan spins very fast to circulate air quickly. However mine stopped suddenly working, I did not even have it for two good full winters, but it heats up fast and very good heat.

A: No, it's not splash proof, and I'm not sure if it would be able to heat up such a large space as your green house is. You would probably need something more powerful.

Q: I just purchased this heater and noticed it does not put out much heat. I can place my hand 1" in front of the heater turned on full blast and its just warm. I noticed the coils inside the heater are not turning red. Is this normal?
