I bought this a couple of months ago for cutting some wooden blocks at home. Very good and efficient. I cut some few blocks quickly. There is a safety latch so the blade will not release and is easily removable.

A: The blade end is in a standard size on the 0548153 reciprocating saw. So normal reciprocating saw blades can be used with 0548153 reciprocating saw. Ensure using a metal-cutting blade to cut through the metal objects.
