Do not buy - bad readings, unreliable

After 14 months (just outside one year warranty) this started giving incorrect readings. Temperatures read at 280 deg C, sound level at 160dB, illumination at 20lux, humidity at -110%. Just wrong and out of range. Tried changing batteries - still a problem. Voltage defaults at AC. Every time you need to read a DC voltage, you need to change the function from AC to DC. This instrument is just rubbish. Don't waste your money on it.......

Q: What setting would i use to measure the voltage, or what is left in a 12V battery on a motorcycle, can't find it in the manual, thanks.

A: This multimeter only can provide voltage reference by switch to DCV range. Switch the range to DCV, it can measure the voltage of the battery. After the motorcycle is mounted in the neutral position, the measurement is more accurate. Or connect a 12V/20W bulb to the battery, when the light is on, start to measure is better.
