Impossible to take it out from the plastic package

I am sure it is an amazing punch if I could finally manage to take it out from the plastic block that's part of the packaging. Whoever thought of that kind of packaging must be sick. I still haven't figured out how to do that. As you can see from the photo, I tried hammer, pliers, punch, screw drivers, nothing worked. Any idea would be welcome.

Q: How can I take the punch out from the plastic block (part of the packaging)??

A: Hong, Sorry for the inconvenience and frustration, it would seem as though the unit/packaging you received is defective, please return it to a Canadian Tire store for exchange. It really should be as simple as "In one hand grab the punch and the other hand grab the holder. Using the hand that is grabbing the punch, pull hard and the punch will come out of the hanger." Cheers, Jake
