The Downfall of the Master Chef SS Oyster Shucker

The pointy end to open an oyster is too wide/large, too thick and too short. It is very difficult to insert it into the oyster. A longer, narrower and pointy chucker like the one by Gourmet Tools and Utensils coming with a plastics oyster shell holster to better protect from holding the oyster by hand. The stainless steel handle of the Master Chef is also very slippery when wet. I have tried four different oyster shuckers and the best on (to me) is definitively the Gourmet one.

worst oyster shucker ever

Can't get a grip on the handle. Blade has got all proportions wrong. It's frustrating to use. I'll try and take it back after a year, no shame.
