Lucas grease is my go to solution on the farm.

I always use Red "N" Tacky on anything that pivots. I use these 2 rules when it comes to grease: If it rolls (wheels, roller bearings, etc.), then Green X-TRA grease. If it pivots (front end loader, backhoe, etc.) then Red "N" Tacky. Also if it's exposed to any elements, then Red "N" Tacky does the trick.

Q: is this equivalent to Shell Alvania grease EPR00 Extreme Pressure Low Temp grease (I.e: #837-0168 from the parts manual) ?

Q: Can this be used where EPR00 Extreme Pressure Low Temp grease is needed aka Shell Alvania grease #837-0168 for snowblower auger box?

A: Thank you for your question. This product is not rated for as low of a temperature range as Shell Alvania. As such, we would not recommend Red N Tacky as a substitute.
