i have this fan only 8-9 months now and the string does not pull down its like its stuck and i cant even return it back so disappointed in this product which that canadian tire can help me with this issue maybe even get a replacement since clearly theres a defect in this fan?

Very disappointed in this product.

The light kit is very weak. The load limiter burned out and this is the second time we purchased this fan/light. Both were very poor quality and just lasted long enough for the warranty to expire. Can't find parts. We used the appropriate 60W bulbs as recommended so the issue was not using too high wattage. Nice looking and the fan works great but the light quality is no good. Very disappointed. Disposable just like everything else these days.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: From the ceiling to the bottom of the light shade is approx 13-14 inches. There actually is a building code which states how high from the floor a ceiling fan should be, as well as from the ceiling. Google it for best results.
