Made our old fluorescent light young again!

Googled flickering fluorescent and came across an article about replacing this 1st before replacing bulb. Found it on CT site and ordered. It took like 10 seconds to replace and the light is brighter than it's been in years. The one I replaced had a manuf. date of 12/93. Young electricians my spouse works with, never heard of this! They told him to buy a new light fixture. In today's disposable society it was an affordable solution to keep our fixture out of the landfill. Didn't want to do this as it's an old Budweiser over our pool table and I like the retro!
