Q: Is there a safe way to accelerate the drying time? It has been 48 hours and still a bit spongy in the corners of the tub. (Also, for the dry areas it is not smooth like silicone to the touch, but almost chalky. Getting a bit worried)

Don't waste your money on this garbage

This stuff is pure garbage. It doesn't seal or bond. It wouldn't cure and the stuff that did finally dry turned flaky. Don't waste your money. Buy a different brand of silicone for anything that is exposed to damp conditions.
