Kitchen aid used to be top quality. This is likely the last kitchen aid product I will ever buy. Broke on the second use. The weird mechanism in the handle would bind to a halt. I could sometimes reverse it, and move it forward again - but it would only fail again. I had the same can opener for 25 years growing up. This isn’t hard tech to get right, and these things should last forever. I returned it and bought another brand. Never again kitchen aid. Never again.
