Nice set …. But needed time

Nice set …. But very time consuming and intense. Lots of Fibreglass particles on the boards so did need to wipe all the piece's. The stakes to put in the ground are slightly troublesome if the ground is not soft.

Good backyard play set

We’ve owned this play set for two years now and have been relatively pleased with it. Our little one and her friends have a lot of fun on it.
There were some damaged pieces in the original box the manufacturer sent us replacement pieces, but in general, the wood could be better quality as there is a air bit of splitting in the wood after two years of weathering.
The stakes used to mount the play structure to the ground has to be improved. We have had older kids swing on it and the structure moves quite a bit.
It’s a good little play set but definitely there are areas of improvement.

Pretty decent for what you pay for (on sale). Will accommodate 2 small children, slide is fast. The wood does crack in some places though.

Q: Would this be okay during winter? I see there is a tarp foe the top should it be removed during winter so it doesnt rip?

A: The tarp can be removed if desired. At the factory we have coated the wood with a water repellent or stain. This coating decreases the amount of water absorption during rain or snow thus decreasing the tension in the wood. Sunlight will break down the coating, so we recommend applying a water repellent or stain on a yearly basis (see your local stain and paint supplier for a recommended product). -The KidKraft Customer Care Team #05001

A: I don’t remember the slide being separate. I thing it was all in one perilously heavy, long box. It’s a bit of a challenge to assemble but the instructions guide you through the process. Follow it exactly and do not let the kids help!

A: The ground can be a little uneven, and you can fix this with some dirt, but if it's terrible, don't. The Wood will flex too much and break.
