Q: Model 23725 is supposed to have a light on the wand but this one does not, so what model number is this vacuum actually?

A: Looking at the photos of the Model # 23725, Kenmore may have eliminated the wand light. The vacuum I bought in March of last year, same model number, does have a wand light.

Q: Will the wand stand up on its own when it is attached to the powerhead, of course ? Or will you need to lay it down everytime you need to stop, say to move something whilst vacuuming.

A: No, the wand (when attached to the powerhead) will not stand up on it's own UNLESS you draw the powerhead close to the vacuum canister itself so as the weight of the hose doesn't tip the powerhead over. So yes, it can be an annoyance. I also found the handle grip hard on my wrist after a short while and find the bare floor attachment does not sit flat enough when vacuuming under furniture. On a good note, overall, I am happy with the power of the vacuum and powerhead. This is my third Kenmore Vacuum over the course of a fifty year span. Kenmore has always been a reliable brand.

I had to replace my old Beaumark beast. I wanted something with a power nozzle because I also have a Miele, but the air powered nozzle really sucks. I mean doesn't. Anyway this one works properly, handles rugs and bare floors, does everything and has a HEPA filter, which I need. Plus it was on sale!

Strong suction, light vacuum

First week and this vacuum shows great value for money. Powerful suction overall, great power nozzle on carpet. Attachments are conveniently accessed. I wish the floor attachment was wider by 3 -4 inches. Its sharply angled edges gets into corners well. The bristles on the small attachment are long and fold in when the suction is set on high.

Head goes straight and doesnt move easily at all the power head is too big and not really functional
