K&N rules

I've been running them in my trucks and bikes. My last pickup had 450,000 kms on it and the guy who I gave it to still drives it everyday. My Harley has a 110 CI Screamin Eagle Stage 1 with over 100,000 and running the KN since new. Both vehicles I use into my camp on the reserve and the driveway is 1km of sand. Just keep em clean and dont over oil.

Pleased with this filter change

K&N replacement filter improved my gas mileage by 1 mpg but more significantly, the car runs better,. We have a standard/clutch Forester and the car pulls away much more smoothly at low RPM's and revs more easily through the gears..

Never a problem

I used a K&N filter in my 4.7 Dodge Dakota for 13years and 200,000 Kim's with no problems. I've travelled gravel roads on my fishing trips and only re-oiled the filter twice a year.

Do your research before buying

I have been using kn filters for years until someone told me they do not do a good job at filtering the air so after doing my research I have found several independent tests as well as forums with car experts and the fact is that even kn admits, there filters will let by more dirt than good old paper filters it's not much only 1-3 per cents but over the years of an engines life that 1-3 percent will add up in dirt. Second problem is many people over oil the filter causing it to go all over the mass airflow sensor and clogging it. Just change your filter every 20 000 km and you will get the same performance as a kn filter with the added piece of mind

A: If your vehicle has the 2.5L, engine, then the 034-1293-6 air filter (K&N part number 33-2293) is the one you are looking for. If you have the 2.0L or 1.6L engine, please contact your local store for assistance in finding the correct product as it varies depending on engine size and type.
