Terrible OEM shear bolts!!!

Terrible. Shear bolts kept breaking in a storm. They were very tight so that wasn’t the problem.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: What are the dimensions of this bolt? I am looking for 1/4-20X1.75

A: I know this is from 2 years ago, but I bought these bolts thinking they would fit my craftsman snowblower as I read the review stating they would. They have no dimensions on the pack whatsoever, back or front. But they are 1/4 x 2". They did not fit.

A: The one I bought were 1/4" x 2". But what's more critical is the distance between the 2 notches which should match the diameter of your shaft which in this case is 1". I actually bought these bolts for my craftsman snowblower so I would suggest if you have the old bolts, take it to Canadian Tire and compare what they have there. I believe if I remember right, there were 2 or 3 different bolts for different diameter of shaft.
