FOR THE PRICE SHOULD HAVE LASTED LONGER THAN 2 MOS

Bought 2 months ago. Maintained well and cleaned as instructed. Refilled only to find it would not turn on. Did all troubleshooting and still does not work. Surprised given Honeywell's reputation for quality but would not recommend it to anyone given it only lasted this llong.

Very happy with this purchase; would recommend it to anyone who asks. The 1.5 gallon tank is good for 24 hours of infusing the air in our apartment with cool water, it’s easy to refill and runs very quietly which is important at night while we are sleeping.

A: I have experienced the same thing but have not found a solution other than to operate on a lower seeing. My daughter’s has the same model but older and she uses distilled water. For me that is an added expense I was not prepared for.

Q: Can you use city tap water? Is only well water hard water or is there other hard water? Is city tap water soft or hard?

If you have hard water (which can be well or municipal), we would suggest using a demineralization cartridge, PDC51, or mixing in distilled water to reduce the concentration of the minerals in the water.
