Q: Hi, How long can it be run without turning off? I will be moving to a basement that kinda smells, wondering if I can run it constantly on turbo for 2 to 3 days
4 years agoA: We run ours 24 / 7. Just remember to check the charcoal filter weekly. I vacuum the charcoal filter weekly and replace it every two months.

Q: how many watts does it use on the lowest fan speed? Also, on other sites people say it doesnt actually come with the auto mode that senses air quality and adjusts speed. Does this come with that feature?

Accordingly, the wattage will be lower on the other settings, however, we do not have this specific information. Additionally, model HPA5150BC does not include an automatic cleaning mode feature. Q: Would you only use an air purifier in the winter when the house is closed up? Just wondering if it's also effective in the warmer weather when the windows are open.

Air Purifiers are greatly reduced in effectiveness when windows are open, as contaminants from the outside air will enter into the area the air purifier is trying to clean. We do advise using an air purifier all year around to keep the air inside clean.
