Excellent Buy !

I stood in the toaster isle for sometime reading all the reviews. Took a chance at this one as $300 is crazy amount to pay for a toaster in my opinion. This one has the features i was looking for. Large slots for bagels and defrost /frozen button. Bagels come out perfect. Toast was toasted on perfect on both sides. Other reviews I read people don't understand that white bread toasts at a different rate than a multi grain or sourdough. Dense bread needs longer. This toaster did not break the bank and did exactly what it was advertised to do Toast!

One of the ejection springs is not strong enough to eject the toast and you have to lift the handle up to get the toast ou tof that side. Very inconvenient.

Q: When toasting one slice of bread, only one side gets toasted. Is there a special procedure for toasting one slice without having to do it twice?

A: I haven't had this problem as I typically toast fairly thick buns or bread. I just take it out and flip it over and put it back in again if it is doing that.
