Awesome little kettle. All metal can be used over a fire, handle locks into the upright position. Also, nests inside a 25 series Trangia cook set.

Nice Kettle but a bit too small

I bought this kettle to take in my backpack when I go in the woods with my sons. We like to light a fire and have a hot chocolate. The kettle seems to be well made (although I haven't used it yet). Unfortunately, it doesn't hold enough water to fill 3 of our camping mugs so I am going to return it. I thought that I would easily fill 3 mugs with the 1 liter size. I'm not sure if my mugs are too large or if the 1 L designation is up to the top of the kettle instead of just to the spout.
