Grood trimmer for the money

I have a yard with 200 feet of fence line plus around the home. This little trimmer has held up really well for the task. It has a lot of power considering its electric.

So far I'm pleased with this weedwacker. It would have got a 5 star from me had it had a supplied shoulder strap. It's a bit heavy for me.

A: Hello Joy123, no this is not normal, you should be able to just simply tap the bottom bump knob on the ground to receive more string line. If rewinding the string on the spool does not resolve the issue, we would advise to contact our helpline (1-888-909-6757) for further assistance.

Q: The trimmer head on your website of this model is the same as the one on our trimmer. But the manual on your website is showing an older trimmer head that is totally different. How do I get the head apart on the one we have that is dated March 2016.

A: Please stop the motor and disconnect the power source from the unit. Press the spool retainer tabs on both sides of the spool to release the spool cover (this may take some pressure to release the tabs). Remove the spool cover and refill the spool as needed.

A: Hello StNick, This trimmer has auto line advancement feature which will feed 1/4" of line each time the unit is stopped and started, unlike the older bump n feed style heads. Please contact us at info@greenworkstools.com for more information.

A: This product is recommended to all users regardless of height, we do recommend eye protection (any type glasses would do), and feet and leg protection (long pants and closed toe shoes).

A: To properly remove and replace the trimmer line on the trimmer please refer back to the manual on page 20 -23.

Q: Replacement spool & string size Do I have to buy the 060-2067 replacement spool, or can I manually refill it? Can thicker string be used in this trimmer?

A: You do not need to buy the replacement spool as the Greenworks 7.5A Trimmer will accept 0.080” trimmer line manually loaded into the spool.
