Under cabinet black light

Brought this only as a space because it would fit underneath one of our cabinets already using a 18 inch under cabinet lighting. I star deducted as this device does not come with the "shade" shield which we had on the existing Global under cabinet lighting,

Extremely Weak. Big Disappointment.

Bought this because it was a florescent tube and should have been more powerful than the incandescent bulbs. BIG disappointment! This is advertised for parties etc. This light couldn't even light up a single poster. Had to get within inches of the poster to even be noticed and would only glow the area directly under the light and no where else. This light would ONLY be good for checking UV hand stamps and not for any wall, poster or room area lighting. Electrical cord is way too short to reach from wall outlet to any normal location above. Will be shopping for a proper black light at an electrical store.

A: For your specific purpose of lighting up a larger area for a party, you should buy the black light bulbs to use in your existing fixtures instead. Items: #052-5146 or #052-5310. There is no beam distance for this SKU so it is not possible to provide you with a coverage area.
