Globe Electric No-Neutral Wi-Fi Wire Smart Switch

This is the second unit that I have acquired. I purchased the first unit in November 2025, installed it (to control a front porch light). The first unit worked fine for about four weeks and then suddenly failed. It was clearly defective. I immediately submitted a warranty claim to Globe Electric (through the form on their website) but then heard nothing. Four weeks later, when I followed up by phone, Globe Electric had no record of the warranty claim. Globe Electric then told me that it would not replace the unit under the one-year warranty but I had to do an exchange at Canadian Tire instead. I took the defective unit back to Canadian Tire, which immediately replaced the unit with no questions asked. I have now installed the replacement switch (same model as the original one) and it is working fine. However, I remain apprehensive that this unit will also fail. We shall see. I am giving this product a one-star rating because I have purchased various electrical products for decades and never had a failure like this before. There is no reason why a properly designed and manufactured switch (which has been subjected to proper quality control at the factory) should fail. I have noted the other reviews for this product, some of which have also indicated the failure of the unit within a matter of months of installation. That is not a good sign. I have no complaint about Canadian Tire's exchange practices because it was simple to get a replacement unit.

Bought this early this week. Installation was simple and it functions as a regular light switch but for the life of me I can't keep it connected. I have three other Globe Smart products that all installed and connected smoothly - not this one. It will be going back.

Works great, but it’s a bit too pricey

I bought this device twice; one about 6 months ago and one lately. the 1st one become dead and the second starts having problem. after resetting the 2nd one it is currently working normal. I fail to find the receipt for 1st one and don't know what to do.
