Poor quality

This tool is not worth the money. When it is extended, the clips that keep it extended are not secure and it falls back during use. As a result, cannot use properly fully extended. Not well built.

Purchased it around three weeks ago and had an opportunity to use it twice quite impressed on the ease of use and assembly , a touch heavy, but that's expected for durability.,, the only complaint is. I wish the carpet was longer, because as you get higher up on the roof and the big chunks of snow slide on the carpet and suddenly stop as it gets past end of the carpet. Causing You to Pull-down the big chunks like a regular snow roof rake. I will be adding an extension to the carpet. Other than that still love this product,

Does exactly what it’s intended to do. The extendable pole works perfectly, much better than other products that I have tried. It is a bit expensive, but well built and if used properly should last a long time.

Buy a Snowpeeler instead

The pole would not extend. I retuned it and had the option of an exchange, but in the process I learned of Snowpeeler's RoofRake sold elsewhere. Unlike Garant, Snowpeeler is a Canadian product. It was also almost double the length of Garant's system for about the same price. Also, Garant took nearly 3 weeks to reply to a customer service inquiry I placed on their website. It would be great to see Canadian Tire provide Snowpeeler's superior Canadian product in place of Garant's costly $/foot and poor customer service
