Like one other review, I had a difficult time installing this light. I almost gave up and even needlessly purchased extensions for the central threaded rod as it appeared to be too short. The instructions don't say this but the nut on the top of the threaded rod needs to be placed on the top side of the ceiling plate and the threaded rod screwed into it before mounting the ceiling plate on the two screws. Once the screws attaching the ceiling plate are tightened, the glass cover can be attached using the nut and cap provided as there is enough thread exposed.

The products mounting plate is threaded and sharp and will likely strip the insulator and likely start a fire.

Good price for two lights but material is cheap

Took me a while to put up. Review the diagram since the written stuff does not help. Change the screws since they are soft and will strip.

Super hard to put up

bought these to put up at our cabin and out of 4 light fixtures (two packs of two) we managed to get one up in about two hours. The piece that goes in the middle of the fixture that the small piece at the bottom of the fixture was too short in all of them but we somehow managed to make one out of four stay up after two hours which should have only been a five to ten minute job.
