A: Yes it vacuums easily with a hand vacuum and floor stays dry from wet shoes. Mat has rubber backing too

A Good Rug

Can't speak to it's longevity and I definitely thought it was too thin and it would just blow away with the wind but it stays put and does a fine job. Not as dark as the photo suggests but it's doing what it's supposed to.
