Moisture in your home or basement can lead to issues such as mould and mildew, but this For Living 30 Pint 2-Speed Dehumidifier will help you remove excess water from the air with ease. It has a roomy 30 pint bucket capacity, so you won't have to empty as often. It also has a 24-hour on/off timer for convenience, combined with a low-temperature function that allows it to work in temperatures as low as 5 degrees Celsius (41 degrees Fahrenheit). With multiple settings, this dehumidifier can be set to run at Comfort for your home, Continuous for really damp areas like basements, or Manual if you want to control the run schedule yourself. When frost builds up, there is a defrost function that kicks in automatically to remove it safely and quickly. When the 30 pint dehumidifier's bucket gets full, the unit will shut off automatically to protect the machine.

Compressor died

Compressor died on me after about 6 months. Worked well before that, but would not recommend. Too expensive for only have a year of use.

Bought to install in basement and made sure to ask and look for continuously drainage. It sometimes work and sometimes not. I'll return it and buy a well known brand and NOT a Canadian Tire one.

Q: How much water does tank hold?

  • A: Box says 30 pints, but when I emptied tank (after full shutoff), I measured 3.2 litres (about 7 pints). I have to empty mine 3 times a day.

Q: J’ai acheté un déshumidificateur For Living 30 chopines 043-7334-2  l’année dernière le 26 avril 2021et lorsque je vide le bac d’eau manuellement , il me faut essayer de remettre à plusieurs reprises le bac. Refus de l’appareil…pourtant bac est vide

Q: Question was asked previously about the drain function but response didn't include answer to whether or not the drain hose actually comes with the unit in the box, or not ? Not listed in the product details or specifications.

Q: Does this unit has capability to automatically restart after it stops at desired level? If I set it to 55 and it stops after reaching 55, and humidity rises again to 60, does it automatically restart or its manual effort to do so?

Q: How much water does the tank hold? I know that the unit may remove 30 pints a day but need to know how many pints litres or cups the reservoir holds.

  • A: My dehumidifier is rated for 50 pints/day.  It is model 043-0755-2.  The tank holds 7 litres.  Hope this helps.
