Q: Comme plusieurs de ces petits foyers, est-ce que celui ci est bruyant quand le ventilateur du chauffage est en action.

A: Oui très bruyant. Pour ma part j’aime ça car ca atténue les autres bruits de fond. A noter qu’après un temps un petit bip va se faire entendre(2-3 mois) car il parait qu’il y a des batteries à changer à l’intérieur. Je ne l’ai pas encore fait mais ça fait bip au 10 secondes. Très petit bruit mais perceptible.

3 years agoA: top surface does not get hot but consider the weight of the TV as the legs on the fireplace are plastic! I was very disappointed in that quality.

Q: Mine is very loud, are they supposed to make so much noise?
a year agoA: There must be something defective or out of place in the mechanism that simulates the flame because mine was just put through a whole cycle and there was no noise other than a light ticking sound when the thermostat turned the heating element ON or OFF. The flame is quiet and functioning properly.

5 years agoA: Because it's reached the temperature you have it set for, ie if it's set at 70 then once the room reaches temp, it shuts off

Q: What does code E1 mean.
a year agoA: Code E1 is that the thermal cut has turned the unit off. This can be caused by various situations, but usually overheating.
