This sleek, compact FoodSaver vacuum bag system efficiently removes air and seals food in specially designed bags or rolls, locking in freshness and flavour. Easy-to-operate functions include Vacuum & Seal to remove air and seal in one step, and Vacuum Only to manually control vacuum time. The removable drip tray catches overflow liquids for quick clean-up. Despite the small footprint, this vacuum storage system delivers full-size power and performance to keep food fresh up to five times longer than ordinary storage methods.

FoodSaver Compact System is Fantastic!

Great product. I use the FoodSaver bag sealing system all the time to save meats. This is my third purchase of this system as my adult children eventually borrow the FoodSaver and never return it.

I replaced my previous food saver / vacuum sealer that I had for several years with the VS1175. This one came with the marinade container which I haven't tried yet.

Good product, not a good starter kit

I bought this a week ago and finally had a chance to use it today. However, all I could try was to use it with the 2, 8" x 10' rolls that came with it as the 2 pint and 2 quart bags were not included as indicated on the box. It did seem to work ok with the roll.
