We realized while packing for our trip that one of our kids outgrew their life jacket during the summer. We bought this one as a last minute purchase. We didn't fall in the water, but this was comfortable enough for our kid.

A: If you are a non-swimmer you might want a jacket-style life jacket vs a keyhole one. You will feel much safer in a full jacket.

Q: Hi there, I’m confused. This is sold under the children’s PFD section online. It says the weight limit is up to 90lbs, yet chest is max 48”. Reviews say it’s good for kids AND adults. A question from 8 yrs ago Says it’s for adults. Will it fit a 7-8yr?

Q: Does this meet Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) Standard CAN/CGSB-65.7-M88? Does this meet or exceed CGSP Standard of 65.7-M88 AMEND - providing a minimum buoyant force of 93 newtons (21 pounds force)?

A: According to our ULC approval number TC-77710-15 under Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) Standard CAN/CGSB-65.7-M88, the minimum buoyancy is 69N (15 1/2 pounds). We can meet this requirement and have printed this buoyancy information on the ULC product label of the PFD.
