Thought I would ignore the reviews. I mean it’s Fiskars. I have an axe and hatchet from them. I love them. But this. All the reviews about breaking are accurate. Didn’t get 30 uses out of it. Snapped off. No big deal, lifetime warranty. Contacted Fiskars support. Got a reply, “please allow up to 7 weeks for a resolution”. Sucks but sure, 7 weeks, nothing, 8 weeks nothing. I emailed a follow-up, no reply. 9 weeks, another follow up email. Week 10 I sent a new warranty claim asking about it. This thing isn’t worth the trip to the store. I understand things break. But if you offer lifetime warranty. At least reply to your paying customers. I’ll rethink any future Fiskars items from now on.
No, I do not recommend this product.

The product should have lasted much longer for you, and the delay in communication isn’t the experience we want anyone to have. Our warranty department is currently working on claims submitted June 12, 2025 and earlier; if yours was submitted after that date, it hasn’t yet been reviewed due to a software transition issue that created a backlog. We know that doesn’t make the wait easier, but please know your claim hasn’t been forgotten and will be addressed as the team works through them. Thank you for your patience, and for sticking with us despite the frustration.

Bought to do a first aeration on a new lawn that was compacted. Ground was thoroughly soaked the night before. 2hrs into using it the handle snapped off just below the weld joint. Replaced at store with new one. 5 more hours and the new one broke in the same spot. Replaced again at store as there are currently no similar manual core aerators at any stores in my area. Finished up lawn with third aerator. The design of the cores is good, the foot pad could be wider for more foot comfort. The cores that it made were a good size, holes well cut. The way the hollow tube's are welded together places excessive stress in one spot (that's why they all break in the same spot) see others reviews for pictures. Skip this item unless you have no other option. Next year I'm renting a machine instead.

Carotteuse manuelle inefficace devenue très efficace après affutage

Malgré mon poids de 165 livres et en ayant bien suivi les instructions d’utilisation de la carotteuse qui ne pénétrait pas dans le sol sèche. J’ai donc affuter les deux tubes du cote qui pénètre dans le sol. Comme par magie, cette cette carotteuse est devenue un vrais petit bijoux. Je pourrai donc maintenant pratiquer le carottage de mon terrain de 550 metre cubes en prenant soins de ne pas couper le fil peri métrique délimitant mon tairrain et contrôlant les secteurs de tonte de mon robot tondeur de gazon. En carottant partiellement et surtout aux endroits secs chaque année dans différents secteurs pour aérer et en maintenir mon gazon en santé je n’ai plus de soucis!

Q: Do the soil plugs get stuck when used in packed or claylike soil? I bought one of these once before and the soil plugs get stuck after the first few and do not come out. The subsequent holes simply compact the soil below.
