Works Like Magic. Have to understand the microwave technology.

It took a while to understand how this bulb works. It uses microwaves to activate the light, so it can sense movement through glass and doors up to 16 feet away. I have installed one on the front porch and it works very well. I installed one in the basement laundry room and it works like a charm as well.

Didnt work

Didnt work as advertised. I installed in the garage but it never shut off.i tried to remove and replug and it still didnt shut off.

Motion bulb

Working great using it outside mostly just to confirm power at a pump the bulb that was in was on all the time and wasting power so this bulb only stays on ten minutes saving power works great

Q: I want to use these in lamps on the exterior walls of my house. These lamps are 6 feet above the ground and place the bulbs facing up. Will the bulbs be able to sense motion lower than them when facing upwards?

Q: How long before the light turns off. We plugged it in and it hasn't turned off yet. We put the light in a closet by the front door. Set at night mode (moon).

A: Thank you for your feedback, this unit has a 10 minute time duration. Reminder to make sure to point the sensor (the black dot on the side of the bulb) in the direction where it will get the most sunlight. The base/neck rotates to help make sure the sensor is pointing towards the sunlight. Once the sensor detects adequate sunlight it will turn the bulb off. If the bulb continues to stay on, at your convenience feel free to submit a warranty replacement. Q: does this bulb work with an on/off switch? i understand it's motion activated but would i have to keep the switch on at all times in order for the motion activation to work or will the switch become redundant? would like to install in outdoor wall sconce.

A: Yes, you have to leave the switch on all the time or the motion light will not work. We purchased several of these bulbs because we live in a gated community. They work real well on the front porch lights as long as someone doesn't turn the switch off.

Q: I have installed my Feit Electric A19 60W Intellibulb, but it will not shut off. It is installed in a deep outdoor light fixture in the porch ceiling. I have tried the setting Moon and the setting Sun and have waited 15-20 minutes each time.

A: We installed our bulb in a recessed fixture on our front porch. It is set on the moon setting and works like a charm. We also installed one for a neighbour and they love it.
