An outstanding self propelled mower.

I am very impressed with the design, particularly in that while cutting high grass it does not leave a trail like the bright green mower it replaced. The mower case is well sealed so grass does not collect inside. The blade has an upward curve to create more suction than most. The bag is plenty big.
I wish the LED lights were a bit brighter.

Does what it is supposed to do. Cut grass. And does it well. Plenty of power. Battery 6Ah is enough for a couple of cuts of an urban lawn. Far less noise than the gas powered one it replaced. And far less smell. And no more gas cans required.

Impressed with the lawnmower’s weight

I purchased this lawnmower late in the season so I have only used it once. It performed well and was fairly light to manoeuvre, and I was also able to pick it up by myself!

Amazing and powerful electric mower. I don’t have a massive yard, like about 1/2 of an acre. But I can mow the entire yard on one battery typically, and sometimes use it with the weedeater before it dies.

I just brought my EGO push mower a few weeks ago. So far it’s been used for two cuttings. The battery lasted for through both, about 90 minutes. Since the yard is flat, I opted to not get the self-propelled model. I feel it was a good decision. It did a nice job chopping up some fallen leaves to put on my compost along with the grass clippings.

Q: Is it OK to store the mower in an unheated garage for the winter? Should the charger and battery be brought inside for the winter here in Niagara Falls, Ontario? Should I recharge the battery over the winter even though I will not use it until the spring?

A: I store my mower in an unheated shed over the winter and there are no problems the following Spring. (I am in the same climate zone as you). The battery and charger are always kept in the house. After the final mow of the season, I charge the battery up one last time, then remove it from the charger and unplug the charger. Lithium batteries can hold a charge for a long time when not being used. The battery may need to be topped up before the first mow of the season, but generally it should be fine. It depends on the age of the battery and the number of charging cycles it has been through. (e.g. a battery that is afew years old or more may not hold a charge as long as a battery that is newer).
