Brush take down

Plenty of power for the brush taken down,was only using on low speed so much more can be done.

This attachment works well on small brush and bushes. It cuts them down eaisily up to 1/2" diameter. It is hard to use with vines like wild grapes or roses because it gets caught up in the vines as you move back an forth. It will cut larger bush type wood up to 3/4" if you go slowly. It is light weight and installed with out much work. The tool to install is not very good for tightening the handle or blade.

Really great tool

I'm still checking this tool out. I live in western WA and the Himalayan blackberries (invasive species to the PNW) is not vegetation that will go down easily with weed trimmer so this tool is proving to be clutch in my arsenal. I have or have owned about 5-7 tools from Ego since 2020 and generally I'm a 90% or better advocate and have turned many friends/family onto the simplicity and efficiency. I did have mechanical failure with this particular attachment on the 3rd/4th outing and I'm unsure what the exact fault was but Ego replaced no problems. If the failure happens again I will probably return and look more to the extension trimmer instead of hedge trimmer I currently own or possibly a combo of both if Ego continues to replace (should there be another failure with this tool).
