Q: When putting the filter in does the arrow on the filter suppose to point towards the furnace?

A: I hate this product! I like Merv 6 product! This product should not be sold by Canadian Tire as it does not stop dirt like Merv 6 does. I put the arrow in like the product shows you. My problem is I bought 4 packs of 3 filters each & tossed my receipt. After 2 months I realized my mistake but was stuck using up ones I had left. I will never buy this product again. Merv 6 product was only $1 more per filter & I trust it to protect my furnace.
