Not up to the standards we expect from Dometic. Grandchildren used it one weekend, the mechanism fell apart inside, returned it for a refund.

Only good for small people

Bought it for our cabin, definitely made for smaller people. I'm a 6'2 220lb man, and that last detail is important if you consider how the seat is shaped, how small it is and where everything... can fit. It creaks and groans with every movement and the top section keeps snapping over the bottom section if I move at all. The back also just snaps off immediately because I don't fit and when I sit in it, it pushes against the back.
I think this would work great for a smaller person, but it should be advertised somewhere that it's made for people under a certain weight or height.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Bought it, filled with water and it leaked out the flush button. I thought Dometic was a good brand!

A: We recommend using a Dometic Holding Tank Treatment to help breakdown waste and control odors. When properly used, no smells should be evident. We recommend Canadian Tire #’s 0763090 or 0762904 for Holding Tank Treatments.

A: if you use RV anti freeze in the water you will be able to use it bellow freezing, how clod it can be will depend on how strong you mix it

Q: With 2 Adults and 1 child, how long will it last until full? I am looking at getting one of these to take camping, but going for a long weekend (4 ~ 5 days). How long will they last until full with 2 adults and 1 child?

A: The total waste capacity of this toilet is 19L. With normal operation, this should be sufficient. It is recommended that you use Dometic Toilet Paper (which dissolves) as well as Dometic Deodorizer. Max retention period is 5 days. With extreme temperatures (+29C), use additional deodorant. Holding tanks should be emptied every 5 days regardless of waste level.
