Absolutely worthless

I find this device frustrating. It sometimes signals a stud edge, then signals center without even moving it. Then moving it farther, it fails to find the other stud edge. Sometimes it finds no studs. Sometimes it signals A/C wires, then doesn't find it again. The "picture" directions are confusing. Do not buy this!

Total trash do not buy!

I am a general contrsctor and have been for 23yrs, i have had several stud finders over the years and thought this one would be top notch! It is quite possibly the absolute worst quality tool lurchased and biggest waste of money for my company in many years. I would love to show a video of just how bad it (doesnt) works!

A: The stud sensor will not detect objects in concrete, mortar, block, brick work, plaster, carpeting, foil- faced materials, metallic surfaces, or ceramic tile.
