Built tough, reliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This impact driver appears it will last forever. For context, I use this tool professionally daily. This impact outperforms anything I've encountered so far. I am HARD on this tool, it's been dropped from 15' multiple times, purposefully and not. The back of the impact has been used as a hammer on multiple occasions. It still behaves the exact same as the day I opened the box. Impressive.

Still working after 7 years of abuse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Workhorse of an impact. Used it for a solid 6-7 years and it never had an issue. In all weather with tons of abuse and it still kicks. I don’t really need and impact like this anymore but I still carry it daily.

From DIY home construction to use in some minor automotive applications this tool has exceeded my expectations; I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the purchase of it.

Q: Will the Dewalt DCF887B 20v XR work on lug nuts and hard to move car bolts.

A: Hello mscane Thank you for your contact. We apologize for any trouble or inconvenience in finding information. The DCF887 has 1825 in-lb of torque which is roughly 152 ft-lbs of torque. Most lug nuts are torqued between 80-100 ft-lbs of torque. It would be rare for the nuts to be torqued at over 150 ft-lbs of torque so this should work on virtually all lug nuts.
