I purchased this item and expected to get what was in the advertised picture of the kit. Unfortunately what I recieved was a different charger than was shown. Dissapointed.

Done commissioned about removal - but it is easy. You have to look at the clips, and it's at the bottom of them. Great adapter to extend longevity of old tools.

One of the worst tools ever...

This adapter is the worst when it's time to remove it from the tool. i can understand wanting a nice tight fit but, when I have to start using other tools to try and remove it from the tool it's in, that's going too far. Whoever the person is in R&D at DeWalt that came up with this adapter is...they need to take the design back to the drawing board and redesign the releases on it. This one deserves to have a recall on it.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Difficult to change battery.

The connection was easy but disconnecting battery from Converter was very difficult. Someone who does not work with their hands will have difficulty disconnecting battery and replacing it with a charged one.
