    It just won't die or quit

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned this tool since 2012 bought it with the dcd950 hammer drill and I have used it with your tipical deck screws, I have used it for automotive like taking off stuck bolts, I have also used it for lags like 1/2inch 5 inch lags. All my 18v batteries finally died after some even saying they are from 2005 and I used to leave them in my shed during the winter and summer when I was not using them. But now I got the 20v to 18v adapter from DeWalt and it's like a new tool

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight, short, and stubby; this baby fits in those tight spots where others fail and hits like a jackhammer until the job is done. Quieter than other impacts as well.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this impact driver for at least 5 years if not 7. It has been used to build decks, remodel a church building into a coffee shop, build furniture, replace the head on a Mini Cooper, and everything in between. It's been through several batteries and continues to operate flawlessly. Much better for driving screws than your standard drill/driver, which is what this replaced when I bought it. Couldn't be happier.

    Still Impacting after taking a swim

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was using this for attaching planking to a new dock. In my utmost stupidity I placed it on a section of decking. Of course when we moved the plank the impact driver gracefully slid off and went into the brackish water. Well I fished it out of about 18 inches of very cold water. Figured what the heck and pulled the trigger. IT STLL WORKED! and we went back to attaching decking.
