What the Stem?

I’ve had this stick blender for five years, and this will be the third time that I’m replacing the stick.
CUISINART: Get the engineering & design team to figure out why the stem dislodges after just 20 months of use AND FIX IT.
One-star review because you can’t buy parts.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Il y a deux vitesses sur le batteur. La première est évidemment plus douce que la seconde mais elle est assez puissante quand même, alors il vaut toujours mieux partir en première d'abord.

A: No there are no variations to the speed but it is used by the push of a button and not an on/off switch which gives you the availability to do a "pusle".

Q: Answers above are contradictory. One says this is 200 watts and another that it is 300 watts. One answer it says the mixing bowl must be hand washed and in the same answer says the mixing bowl be put on the upper shelf of a dish washer. Which is it?

A: The 0431929P is 300 watts and the work bowl can go on the upper shelf of the dishwasher.
