    Not so great

I bought this 10 days ago and the single serve of water is left in the reservoir it leaks

This Duo is exactly what we were looking for!

We bought this around 6 months ago, and we love it. Such a space saver on the counter, and it looks great. Yes, the water tank on the carafe side is a bit awkward to fill, but once you find the right angle, it's really not a big deal. I love the timer option, and the "bold" option which brew a stronger coffee if I want to. On the K-cup side, the water tank is actually removable so very easy to clean and fill. You have a small light in the front that tells you the water level is low, which is great since you don't have to reach in the back every time to see if you have enough water. Now, there is a design flaw, which is why I'm not giving 5 stars. The stream is inconsistent and sprays around quite a bit. We fixed this problem by using a small ramekin that we up upside down under the mug. Raises the mug at the perfect height, no more spraying around. No problem with a travel mug. That flaw is a very small inconvenience, considering the price and what's on the market for dual brew machines right now. It's an overall great machine that does exactly what we wanted: giving us options while clearing counter space!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Finally ... A dual use Coffee Maker

Been using for approximately 2 months now and love it. Been looking for a good product to eliminate the need for having both a drip and single serve maker. Tried the Hamilton Beach version and promptly returned it as it was very disappointing. This machine works great. I agree that it can be awkward filling the drip side with water, but I wouldn't want the machine to be any bigger, which would be the only way to accomplish making the reservoir fill bigger. Seriously not a big deal. I will also agree that the single serve does have an inconsistent spray, but it isn't an issue for me as I only use the single service with travel mugs. If using a standard size coffee mug, I would recommend holding it up or simply putting something under it to lift it up closer to the nozzle. Considering what else is on the market to fill the dual purpose need, its a small inconvenience. Not a good enough reason to avoid purchasing it. Highly recommend to anyone looking to remove some counter clutter.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Kcup side disappointing

Was really hoping that this machine would free up some counter space. We have the Cuisinart coffee maker/hot water machine, and a Tassimo. Wanted to eliminate Tassimo, and other Cuisinart, but this machine was disappointing for the price. The Kcup side splatters hot coffee/water everywhere making a big mess. Thank goodness I didn't get rid of my other machines.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Terrible Product

Have had several Cuisinart products in the past with no complaints, so decided to put away our individual 10 cup coffee maker and our Cuisinart K-cup coffee machine and buy this dual unit to save counter space. BIG MISTAKE! This unit's coffee carafe's water chamber is "tight" , so pouring water into it is a bit of a challenge. However the most glaring problem was that it leaked water from the bottom of the carafe side EVERYWHERE! I checked carefully to see that I hadn't caused this problem, but discovered that the water repeatedly leaked from the unit's underside. To make matters worse, the k-cup side sprayed coffee well past the sides of a normal cup, instead of directing the coffee's flow straight downward INTO the cup. A complete and total mess on all sides. This unit does not even deserve one star! Cuisinart definitely "dropped the ball" on this one!!

No, I do not recommend this product.
